The Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Plovdiv is looking for: The Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB) offers the following position:
Public relations expert
Occupation: Part time
Period: Fixed-term contract, probation of 6 months
Place: Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations;
- Experience in PR activities, developing and implementing communication strategies in business area;
- Experience in communication and cooperation with research entities;
- Very good communication and organizational skills, both written and oral;
- Excellent command of the English and Bulgarian languages, both written and oral. English must be at least at the level of Cambridge C2 Proficiency; knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage;
- Computer literacy, with excellent command of Microsoft Office;
- Efficiency in teamwork, a sense of professional responsibility, respect for industry standards of morality and ethics;
- A minimum 10 years of experience in:
- PR activities, developing and implementing communication strategies;
- Development and maintenance of social media channels, newsletters, websites, etc. across multiple social media platforms for public relations purposes;
- Organizing scientific events (conference, congresses, seminars, workshops) and campaigns to promote the activities of the association;
- Preparation of advertising videos, articles, speeches, presentations and press releases.

The successful candidate will be required to:
- Monitor the advancement of a large European project in the field of Plant Biotechnologies and post the results to three webpages, social and other media;
- Periodically update the Communication Strategy document of the project;
- Organize information events with media and participate in the organizations of scientific and information events of the project;
- Monitor the updates and maintenance of three webpages;
- Develop social media sites for the project PlantaSyst and CPSBB (LinkedIn, Facebook and Tweeter).

BS in Biology and at least an ongoing MSc in Molecular Biology. Strong background in molecular biology, plant physiology, genetics. Previous experience as a lab technician is necessary.
